If You Don’t Need It, SHRED IT!

On April 20, 2024, we’re having a Community Shred Day from 9:00 a.m. - noon at our Corporate Location only. Tipton County Recycling is co-hosting the event. This day is for shredding personal, not business, paper documents. We ask that you remain in your vehicle and have your documents in a paper bag or cardboard box that doesn’t need to be returned. This helps to ensure the line goes quickly and the shredding smoothly.

Important Information

On Friday, March 10, 2023, Federal Regulators shut down Silicon Valley Bank (SVB) due to its lack of liquidity. SVB had a structure very different than traditional financial institutions, as it was a crucial player in the tech and venture capital community. Closely connected with SVB, regulators also closed Signature Bank on Sunday, March 12, 2023. Signature Bank provided banking services to real estate companies, law firms, and cryptocurrency companies. According to regulators, all depositors of both institutions will have access to and receive their full deposits, and taxpayers will not bear losses.
